निजी क्षेत्र गुनासो लिएर सिंहदरबार नआउने वातावरण सिर्जना गर्छुः मन्त्री भण्डारी – प्रत्यक्ष वैदेशिक लगानी भित्र्याउन स्वदेशी लगानी बढाउनुपर्छः ढकाल

उद्योग, वाणिज्य तथा आपूर्तिमन्त्री दामोदर भण्डारीले निजी क्षेत्रलाई कुनै गुनासो लिएर सिंहदरबार आउन नपर्ने वातावरण सिर्जना गर्ने बताउनुभएको छ । नेपाल उद्योग वाणिज्य महासंघको प्रतिनिधिमण्डलसँग बुधबार भएको भेटमा मन्त्री भण्डारीले सो कुरा बताउनुभएको हो ।

मन्त्री भण्डारीले देशका व्यवसायी र उद्योगीले भोग्नुपरेको समस्याबारे आफूलाई जानकारी रहेको बताउँदै अर्थतन्त्रमा परेका समस्यालाई सम्बोधन गर्न आफूले सक्दो प्रयास गर्ने बताए । उनले उत्पादनमूलक गतिविधि बढाउन सहयोग गर्ने र त्यसका लागि अल्पकालीन, मध्यकालीन र दीर्घकालीन योजना तर्जुमा गर्न मन्त्रालय लागिरहेको बताए । उनले उद्योगमैत्री नीति ल्याई उद्योगलाई सहज बनाउने बताए ।



मन्त्री भण्डारीले आफ्नो कार्यकालमा निजी क्षेत्रले लगानी गर्न ढुक्क हुने गरी मन्त्रालयमा संस्थागत सुधार गर्ने प्रयास गर्ने बताए ।

भेटमा नेपाल उद्योग वाणिज्य महासंघका अध्यक्ष चन्द्रप्रसाद ढकालले निजी क्षेत्रको आत्मविश्वास बढाउने नीति ल्याउन मन्त्री भण्डारीलाई आग्रह गरे । ढकालले थप स्वदेशी लगानी आउनका लागि निजी क्षेत्रको विश्वास बढाउनुपर्ने बताए । विदेशी लगानीकर्ताले लगानी गर्नुअघि बजारमा स्वदेशी लगानीको प्रवाह हेर्ने भएकाले स्वदेशी लगानी आवश्यक रहेको उनले बताए ।

स्वदेशी लगानी बढाएर मात्रै विदेशी लगानी बढाउन सकिने ढकालले बताए । नेपालको अर्थतन्त्र उकास्न लगानी आवश्यक रहेको भन्दै उनले लगानीकर्तामैत्री नीति ल्याउनुपर्नेमा जोड दिए । उनले विशेष आर्थिक क्षेत्र र औद्योगिक क्षेत्रमा अत्याधिक भाडा लिइएको बारे मन्त्री भण्डारीलाई जानकारी दिँदै यस विषयमा पनि ध्यान दिन आग्रह गरे ।



Will create conducive environment for private sector: Minister Bhandari  - Need to increase domestic investment to attract FDI: Dhakal
  
Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari has said that he will create an environment whereby the private sector will not have to come to Singhadurbar with any grievances. Minister Bhandari mentioned this during a meeting with a delegation of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday. 

Minister Bhandari said that he is aware of the difficulties being faced by business people and industrialists in the country and he would do his best to address the issues that have been hurting the economy. He mentioned he will help increase manufacturing activities and for this the ministry is working to develop short-term, medium-term and long-term plans. He said he will facilitate industries by introducing industry-friendly policies. 

Minister Bhandari also mentioned that during his tenure he will try to bring in institutional reforms in the ministry so that the private sector will feel confident to make investments. 

During the meeting, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, requested Minister Bhandari to introduce policies that will boost the confidence of the private sector. Dhakal said it is important to boost the confidence of the private sector so that more domestic investments are made. He mentioned that domestic investments are necessary as foreign investors always look at the flow of domestic investments in the market before making investments.

The only way we can increase foreign investment in the country is by increasing domestic investment, said Dhakal. Nepal needs investments to grow the economy so investor-friendly policies must be introduced, he reiterated. He also informed Minister Bhandari about the high rent being charged in the Special Economic Zones and Industrial Areas and requested the minister to look into the issue.
