FNCCI र BVMW जर्मनी बीच समझदारी 

 
नेपाल उद्योग वाणिज्य महासंघ (FNCCI) ले जर्मन कम्पनीहरूले नेपालमा लगानी गर्ने वा नेपाली व्यवसायसँग सहकार्य गर्ने सम्भावना खोज्न BVMW जर्मनीसँग एक समझदारी पत्रमा हस्ताक्षर गरेको छ। सो समझदारी पत्रमा २०२४ फेब्रुअरी ७, मा हस्ताक्षर भएको थियो ।

एमओयूमा एफएनसीसीआईका अध्यक्ष चन्द्रप्रसाद ढकाल र बीभीएमडब्लुका कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष क्रिस्टोफ अहलहसले हस्ताक्षर गरेका थिए । एमओयू हस्ताक्षर समारोह नेपालका लागि जर्मन राजदूत डा. थोमस प्रिन्जको उपस्थितिमा काठमाडौंस्थित जर्मनीको राजदूतावासमा भएको थियो ।

अध्यक्ष ढकालले नेपालले युरोपमा निर्यातमा भन्सारमुक्त पहुँच गुमाउने भएकाले नेपाल विकासोन्मुख मुलुकमा परिणत भएपछि सबैभन्दा बढी असर साना तथा मझौला उद्योगमा पर्ने बताए । उनले विशेषगरी महिलाद्वारा सञ्चालित साना तथा मझौला उद्योगहरूलाई सहयोग गर्नुपर्नेमा जोड दिए। उनले साना तथा मझौला उद्योगको प्रवद्र्धन र विकासका लागि FNCCI र BVMW ले सहकार्य गर्नुपर्ने बताए ।

एमओयूको प्रमुख उद्देश्य FNCCI र BVMW बीचको सहकार्य अभिवृद्धि गर्नु र लगानी प्रवर्द्धनमा सहकार्य गर्न व्यावहारिक रूपरेखा स्थापना गर्नु हो। एमओयूले आपसी सहयोग मार्फत संस्थागत सम्बन्ध सुदृढ गर्ने र क्षमता अभिवृद्धि गर्ने बारे पनि कुरा गर्छ।

एमओयू अनुसार FNCCI र BVMW दुबैले लगानी नीति, नियम, विनियम, कार्यविधि, प्रोत्साहन र अवसरका बारेमा जानकारीको नियमित आदानप्रदान गर्नेछन् । नेपाल र जर्मनीसँग सम्बन्धित तथ्याङ्क र तथ्याङ्कहरू दुवै संस्थाको पहुँचमा पुग्ने गरी सामान्य अपडेटको आदानप्रदान पनि हुनेछ ।

एमओयू अनुसार दुवै संस्थाले व्यापार प्रतिनिधिमण्डल वा लगानी मिशनको आदानप्रदानका लागि प्रोत्साहन र सहयोग उपलब्ध गराउन पहल गर्नेछन् । FNCCI र BVMW ले लगानी र उद्यमशीलता सम्बन्धी संयुक्त कार्यक्रम आयोजना गर्न एक अर्कालाई सहयोग गर्न पनि सहमति जनाएका छन् ।

FNCCI signs MOU with BVMW Germany  
 
The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with BVMW Germany to explore the possibility of German companies investing in Nepal or collaborating with Nepali businesses. The MOU was signed on February 7, 2024.

The MOU was signed by FNCCI President Chandra Prasad Dhakal and Christoph Ahlhaus, Executive Chairman of BVMW on behalf of their respective organizations. The MOU signing ceremony was held at the Embassy of Germany in Kathmandu in the presence of German Ambassador to Nepal Dr. Thomas Prinz.

During the MOU signing ceremony, Dhakal said that there needs to be collaboration between FNCCI and BVMW to promote trade relations between Nepal and Germany. He added that both the organizations need to explore ways to increase exports from Nepal to Germany because Germany has been a trusted export destination for Nepal for many decades.

President Dhakal also mentioned that SMEs will be affected by Nepal's graduation to a developing country status the most as Nepal will lose the duty free access for exports to Europe. He stressed that SMEs, particularly run by women, need to be supported. He added FNCCI and BVMW should collaborate for the promotion and development of SMEs.

The major objectives of the MOU are to enhance cooperation between FNCCI and BVMW and establish a practical framework to cooperate in investment promotion. The MOU also speaks about strengthening institutional relations and capacity building through mutual cooperation.

As per the MOU, both FNCCI and BVMW will have a regular exchange of information on investment policies, rules, regulations, procedures, incentives and opportunities. There will also be an exchange of general updates on statistics and data related to Nepal and Germany with a view to making them accessible to both organizations.

According to the MOU, both the organizations will take the initiative to encourage and provide support for the exchange of business delegations or investment missions. The FNCCI and BVMW have also agreed to assist each other to organize combined events related to investment and entrepreneurship.
