This is to inform you that FNCCI is organizing a meeting with the 8 member Chinese Delegation led by Mr. Zhang Zhao (Executive Member of All China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC)/ Vice President of Guizhou Federation of Industry and Commerce), on the follow time, date and venue.
Time: 12:30 PM
Date: Wednesday, 30 May 2018
Venue: FNCCI Secretariat, Teku, Kathmandu
Guizhou delegation is visiting Nepal from 29 May to 1 June 2018. The delegation is also meeting with Ministry of Energy Water Resources and Irrigation, Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transportation, Investment Board Nepal, while their visit.
The agenda of the meeting are:
1) to prepare for the 15th Nepal-China Non Governmental Cooperation Forum Meeting in Guizhou (tentatively 6 – 8 July 2018) jointly organized by ACFIC and FNCCI.
2) to interact with the visiting Chinese delegation to find the potential areas of business cooperation.
The areas of interest of the Chinese delegation are:
- Investment in Hydropower/energy, Railways, Roads, various physical infrastructure
- Quality Project Investment and Resource Matching
- Water conservancy and hydropower, Power Grids, Urban Transport Planning, Design, Consulting Services
- Survey, planning, design, construction and investment for Road/Highway
- Power grid and power development planning.
- New energy power generation
- Municipal solid waste power generation
- Substation and Transmission Line Engineering
- Smart City Construction
About the Forum: Nepal-China Non-Governmental Cooperation Forum was established in April 1996 (by agreement between the governments of Nepal and China) to promote trade, investment, cultural (including tourism), and other relations between the non–governmental sectors of the two countries. FNCCI and the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) were entrusted for leadership to the Forum, from respective sides. The forum meeting is being organized by FNCCI and ACFIC every year alternately in Nepal and China. The 14th meeting of the Forum was organized by FNCCI in Kathmandu on 25th May 2017 (View the news of the 14th meeting). This year the 15th meeting is planned to be held in Guizhou Province, hosted by Guizhou Federation of Industry and Commerce.
